Nanak Chand Gupta (Chairman and Advisor)

A visionary leader with over 58 years of experience in the glass industry. As the founder and Chairman of Duratuf Group—encompassing Bangalore Safety Glassworks, Duratuf Glass Industries, and Genau Manufacturing—he has spearheaded innovation in safety and architectural glass. Under his leadership, Duratuf Glass (established 1986) grew into one of India’s leading glass manufacturers, supplying automotive and architectural glass to major OEMs and projects. He later established Bangalore Safety Glassworks and Genau, the latter being India’s first manufacturer of PVB interlayers for laminated safety glass.

Mr. Gupta’s commitment to excellence and innovation has earned him acclaim across the industry. In 2025, he received a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 6th Glass Bulletin Awards, honoring his pioneering contributions to the Indian glass industry. His visionary leadership continues to shape the industry and he remains a respected chairman and advisor, inspiring the next generation of glass entrepreneurs.

Vandana Jain (Head of Marketing)

A passionate digital marketer with a keen eye for trends in home interiors. Vandana comes from a family with deep roots in the glass industry, giving her both heritage and hands-on insights into design and materials.
She is a graduate of Miranda House, Delhi University, and has also studied interior decoration, blending creativity with technical knowledge. Vandana believes in bringing together digital innovation and timeless interior aesthetics—making her a bridge between modern marketing strategies and traditional craftsmanship in the glass space.
With her unique background, she adds a fresh perspective to Glassy.in, where digital storytelling meets the artistry of glass.
