Started in glass in 1986. Four decades of fabricator + dealer relationships built the original spine of the directory.
Four decades of glass. One platform.
From a single workshop in 1986 to India’s largest indexed network of glass professionals — Glassy India connects buyers, builders and the trade to the right partner for every project.

The vision
Why Glassy exists.
For most of the last forty years, glass in India was sold the way most building trades were sold — through phone calls, word of mouth and trips to the local shop. The right craftsman often lived three lanes away. The right manufacturer was an introduction nobody had. A homeowner planning a bathroom paid 2× what the same job cost down the street, simply because they didn’t know what to ask, or who to ask.
Glassy India was started to fix that asymmetry. We index every legitimate glass business in the country — architect, interior designer, glass shop, fabricator, dealer, manufacturer — and connect the person needing glass with the right people for their project. No commission, no markup, no hidden routing.
When I started in 1986, I would walk a customer through six lanes of Karol Bagh to introduce them to the right glass mason. Glassy India is that walk — for every Indian home, every architect, every shop owner — done from a phone.
Leadership
The team.
Sets strategy, owns growth, holds the bar on what it means to be a Star Supplier on Glassy. Comes from product and platform.
Runs the 48-hour SLA, the Managed Sourcing desk, supplier audits, and the everyday machinery that turns a requirement into five quotes.
Brand, demand, the editorial voice on the blog, and the partnerships that bring architects + designers into the Glassy network.
Forty years, in short
Milestones.
By the numbers
Where Glassy is, today.
Built for the next forty years.
However glass enters your day — as a homeowner, an architect, a shop owner — we’d like to be on the other end of the conversation.
