Will the print actually last 25 years?
Yes — ceramic frit is fused at 620°C, becoming part of the glass surface. It’s not paint or pigment. ASTM B 117 salt-spray, ASTM D 1308 acid, and 1000 hours UV-cycle tested. We have 7-year-old installs with zero visible degradation.
Can you match any photo?
Yes — anything you can supply at print resolution (we recommend 150–300 dpi for the final size). We’ll send a soft proof at 1:1, you sign off before the cut.
How does it compare to back-painted glass?
Back-painted = solid colour, factory-painted in one shade. Printed = any image, photo or pattern. Cost: printed is ~20–30% more for solid colours, ~50% more for full-bleed photo. Same lifespan and durability.
Can I do a feature wall with my own family photo?
Yes. We need 8 megapixels minimum for a 4-foot wide panel, 12+ megapixels for a 6-foot+ wall. We retouch and prep the image free; you approve before the print.
Pantone colour matching — how accurate?
ΔE < 1.5 across the panel — visually indistinguishable from your reference Pantone chip. We send a swatch panel for sign-off before the production cut.
Is it cleanable like regular glass?
Yes. The frit is fused into the surface, not on top of it. Wipe with any glass cleaner. The optional hydrophobic nano-coat (₹140/sqft) makes it self-cleaning.
