Built to last

What holds up when it pours.

Eight things we spec into every pergola. No cutting corners when the sky opens.

Integrated drainage on every roof

Concealed gutter channels, 50mm PVC downpipes. No pooling, no overflow onto your floor.

Laminated glass, not toughened alone

PVB interlayer holds shards together on impact. IS 2553 Part 3 + EN 12543 certified.

Powder-coat on all aluminium frames

ASTM D3359 adhesion-rated finish. Won’t flake in coastal humidity or direct sun.

M12 stainless steel anchor bolts

SS316 grade where coastal, SS304 inland. Torqued to 40 Nm, anti-vibration washers fitted.

Five-year structural warranty

Frame, glazing, motor (if fitted). Excludes fabric on retractable models (fabric gets three years).

Wind-load rated to IS 875 Part 3

Engineered for 47 m/s gusts (basic wind speed). Stamped drawings included in quote.

IP44 motors on motorised louvres

Somfy or equivalent. Splash-proof, rain-sensor compatible, manual override crank included.

Custom spans up to 6m × 5m

Larger footprints use intermediate posts or steel I-beams. Your site survey tells us which.

The process

From sketch to shade.

Three steps. We handle permits if your society needs them.

01

Share your terrace dimensions.

Photo or rough sketch. We send a fixed per-sq.ft quote within two working days, including structure and install.

02

Pick your roof type.

Fixed glass, louvres, polycarbonate, fabric, or hail-rated. We confirm anchoring points and drainage routing.

03

Installed in 3–5 weeks.

Frame fabricated off-site, assembled on your terrace. Electrical (if motorised) done by licensed tech. We test every moving part before handover.

Common questions

Common questions.

What’s the actual weight difference between glass and polycarbonate roofs?

10.76mm laminated glass is ~26 kg/sq.m; 16mm twin-wall polycarbonate is ~2.8 kg/sq.m. For cantilever designs or weak slab areas, polycarbonate makes sense. For hail zones or permanent structures, glass wins on durability.

Do I need a structural engineer’s sign-off for my society?

Most RWAs ask for stamped drawings if you’re anchoring into a shared slab. We provide IS 875 load calculations and a PE-stamped layout for ₹4,500 — that’s usually enough. If your society insists on a third-party audit, we coordinate but you cover the auditor’s fee.

How do retractable louvres handle monsoon — won’t the motor short?

Somfy motors are IP44-rated (splash-proof, not submersible). The control box sits inside a weatherproof enclosure. Rain sensors auto-close the louvres before water pools. We’ve had zero motor failures in three monsoon seasons across 80+ installs.

Can you retrofit a pergola onto an existing terrace with tile flooring?

Yes, if the slab below is RCC and at least 125mm thick. We core-drill through tiles, epoxy-anchor the posts, then seal with polyurethane. If it’s a wooden deck or hollow slab, we’ll need to discuss alternate mounting (parapet clamps or freestanding footings).

What’s the lead time difference between a 3m × 3m and a 6m × 5m pergola?

Smaller spans (up to 4m × 4m) ship in 21 days. Larger spans need intermediate beams or custom extrusions — add a week for fabrication. Hail-rated glass roofs take an extra week regardless of size because the lamination plant runs batches monthly.

Do you handle waterproofing where the pergola meets my wall?

Yes. We use silicone MS polymer sealant (Sika or Bostik) at the wall junction, plus a flashing strip if your wall is plastered. If your terrace already leaks, fix that first — we’re not waterproofing contractors, but we’ll recommend someone reliable.
