Will the colour fade behind the cooktop?
No. We back-paint with ceramic-frit-fused lacquer at 620 °C — it’s mineral, not pigment-based. ASTM D 1308 tested for 1,000 hours under 300 °C cyclic heat. Standard kitchens never come close.
Can you do a backsplash without removing my existing tiles?
Yes — 6mm panels ride directly over flat or slightly textured tiles with structural silicone. We measure within 0.5mm and the mounting is invisible. ₹120/sqft cheaper than full demolition.
How does it compare to ACP or PVC kitchen panels?
ACP discolours under prolonged heat (rating 80°C); PVC delaminates within 4-5 years near a stove. Glass at 300°C rating + zero porosity — easier to clean, doesn’t yellow. Costs ~30% more upfront but lasts 3–4× longer.
Do you do printed backsplashes — say with a marble pattern?
Yes. UV-cured ceramic ink, full-bleed digital print on the glass’s rear face. We can match any photo, marble pattern, or stone-look. Sample swatch sent before the cut.
How big can a single panel go?
Standard panel up to 1500 × 3000mm (5 × 10 ft) on 6mm. Larger kitchens get joined panels with a hairline silicone seal — almost invisible at 0.5mm.
Do you handle shutter hinges and mounting hardware?
Yes — Blum CLIP top BLUMOTION soft-close standard, Hettich Sensys on request. Concealed mount. We fit, you tweak the close-resistance to taste.
