Built to last
Built for load and life.
Railings carry life-safety load — they bend with the wind and absorb impact. Eight non-negotiables on every Edgewise install.
IS 875 wind-load engineered
Every project gets a stamped drawing — the load case is signed off.
Saint-Gobain toughened glass
IS 2553 + EN 12150 dual-certified. 5× the impact strength of regular glass.
SS316 marine-grade hardware
Pitting-resistant for coastal and pool installs. SS316L on splash-zone projects.
Laminated SGP for balconies
If a panel cracks, the SGP interlayer keeps it in place. No fall risk.
Anti-grip top edge
Polished arris on top — no grip points for climbers, fingertip-safe.
0.5mm site survey
Laser-measured to half a millimetre. Edge-polished cut at factory.
Seven-year hardware cover
Base shoes, standoffs, brackets — replaced free if anything corrodes.
Engineer-on-site for high-rise
Above floor 7, our structural engineer attends the install. Bolt torque verified.
The process
Three steps, three weeks.
Engineering drawings → factory cut → install. No site grinding.
Share span + load.
Drawing or photos. We send a fixed-price quote, drawing set, and stamped load case within 48 hours.
Approve the spec.
12mm vs 13.52mm laminated, post-mount vs base-shoe — we confirm the cut sheet and finish.
Install in 1–2 days.
Glass cut, edges polished, hardware fixed. Engineer signs off. Site cleaned.
Common questions
Questions, answered.
Frameless or post-mount — which is structurally safer?
Both clear IS 875. Post-mount distributes load via posts every 1.2m, frameless via the base shoe. Frameless needs 12mm minimum and a wind case > 1.5kPa benefits from 13.52mm laminated. We size per IS 875 wind zone.
Will the glass discolour over years of UV?
No. Toughened glass is fully UV-stable — the only thing that ages is laminated PVB interlayer (~2% transmission loss over 20 years). For permanent clarity we offer SGP interlayer, rated for 25+ years.
How does the engineer-stamped drawing work?
Every project over 1.2m span gets a structural drawing signed by our IS-1893 certified engineer. It covers wind case, dead load, live load, anchor spacing. PMC and architect sign-off paths are included.
Can you replace just one cracked panel without redoing the whole run?
Yes — base-shoe runs are panel-independent. We measure, factory-cut, and swap a single panel in under 4 hours. Same cost as the original sqft rate, no re-engineering needed.
How does it work for high-rise (above floor 7)?
Mandatory: engineer attends install, bolt torques verified, anchor pull-out test on a sample. Wind case scales with height (IS 875). 13.52mm laminated SGP is standard above floor 12.
Marine / coastal installs — what changes?
SS316L hardware (vs SS316) — pitting-resistant under salt fog. We add a hot-zinc-spray on field-cut steel and seal with marine epoxy. ₹120/sqft surcharge.
