What’s the actual cost difference between 8mm and 10mm glass?
Roughly 12–18% more for 10mm — but only on panels over 1.2m wide, where the extra rigidity actually matters. Below that, 8mm is engineered to handle the load. We default to 8mm and only quote 10mm when the geometry needs it.
How does the 7-year warranty work?
Anything that fails — hinge sag, seal degradation, glass haze (not impact damage) — we replace free, including labour. We track every install on your phone number; one call and a tech is at your door.
Can you remove my old enclosure as part of the install?
Yes. ₹2,000 flat for removal of an existing enclosure (any brand). We dispose responsibly — glass goes to recyclers, hardware goes to scrap. We don’t dump.
Why "Saint-Gobain" specifically? Aren’t all toughened glass the same?
No. Saint-Gobain runs the only IS 2553 Part 1 + EN 12150 dual-certified line in India with a public failure-rate dashboard. Local toughening plants pass IS but not EN — and that’s where the 0.5% failure-rate gap shows up over a 7-year window.
Do you do oversize panels — say a 2.4m walk-in?
8mm is engineered up to 2.0m wide. Above that we use 10mm, sometimes laminated 8.38mm SGP for extra panels (mid-rise & coastal). Your quote will say which.
How big is the install crew? Will they trash my bathroom?
Two-person crew, 3-4 hour install for most enclosures. Floor protected with sheets, walls taped where we mount. We test every door’s swing before leaving.
